ENGAGEMENT: Lucatero/Garcia: Laura Lucatero and Gabriel Castillo Garcia are engaged to be married.
Laura, daughter of Jose Lucatero and Maria Jacobo of Hollister, is an administrative assistant in nursing at Hazel Hawkins Hospital.
Gabriel, son of Gabriel and Alicia Garcia of Hollister, works with Carriage Services.
The couple is planning a Nov. 3, 2012 wedding at Bolado Park Pavilion.

Rebecca Inderhees
Rebecca Inderhees of Morgan Hill was chosen as a shuttle volunteer during the second presidential debate held at Hofstra University, Oct. 16. A shuttle volunteer was responsible for riding various transportation vehicles and providing traffic updates and troubleshooting any transportation requests.
Throughout this election year, Hofstra students have been engaged and enlightened during Hofstra’s political event series, Debate 2012: Pride, Politics and Policy. Students have been able to attend and participate in panel discussions and lectures.
Hofstra University, in Hempstead, N.Y., is a private institution of higher education where more than 11,000 full and part-time students choose from undergraduate and graduate offerings.
