The Gilroy High boys volleyball team triumphed in straight sets for the fourth consecutive Tri-County Athletic League Valley Division match, beating host Alisal 25-18, 25-17 and 25-13 on Tuesday night in Salinas.
Connor Escobar had posted a match-high 22 kills and Jonny Lester had six kills and seven assists for the defending league champions.
The Mustangs (6-5 overall, 4-0 TCAL) break from league action tonight with a road contest at Willow Glen in San Jose. They jump right back in Thursday, hosting Christopher High at 6:30 p.m.
