Anritsu reached 5-0 atop the Men’s Fall EE Softball League standings Thursday by outlasting Gilroy Thunder 23-6 at Las Animas Park.

Anthony Lewis hit two singles in the second inning as Anritsu scored 10 runs. Ben Hartshorn paced the Anritsu offense with two three-run home runs and a two-run double. Matt Elston and Andy Alarcon each collected three hits and scored four runs for Anritsu. Juan Rios cracked two doubles and scored two Gilroy Thunder runs.

No Soup 4 You remained one game off the pace with a 30-1 victory over Cross Ministries. Ralph Ortez and Joaquin Chacon each hit two Soup (4-1) home runs. Kiko Sierra singled and scored the Cross Ministries run.

Claddagh Brew Crew defeated the Sweepers 18-12 to leave both teams at 2-3 in third place.

Kevin Belanger went 5-for-5 and Jake Moreno went 4-for-4 with a sacrifice fly for Claddagh. Joseph Arde scored four runs and Kris Orre homered for the Sweepers.

Jaime Rosso went 4-for-4 Thursday as Burch Please recorded a fourth straight Men’s E League win, 18-9 over the Lost Boyz at Christmas Hill Park.

Joel Gaeta homered and Trini Cruz provided four hits for the 4-1 winners. Bryan Sanchez scored three Lost Boyz runs.

Trevino Brothers Construction dropped out of a first-place tie by dropping a 16-10 nod to the Loco Boys.

Elias Madrid hit two singles as the Loco Boys struck for seven runs in the second inning and never trailed. Aljay Davis, Daniel Vasquez and Marco Lopez each provided four hits to the Loco Boys cause. Loren Walsh went 4-for-4 for 3-2 Trevino Brothers Construction.

VFW Bingo improved to 3-2 with a 20-5 win over the God Squad. Julio Zavala hit two triples and two singles for VFW Bingo. Josh Diaz hit a home run and two singles for Bingo. Ray Cordova hit a run-scoring single for the God Squad.

Guts & Glory earned a one-game half lead in the Co-Rec Fall League pennant chase Sunday with a 16-8 victory over Anritsu at Las Animas.

Ben Hemeon hit for the cycle in a 5-for-5 showing and Julio Romero went 4-for-4 for 4-0 Guts & Glory. Tommy Muth scored three runs, Ruben Sanchez went 3-for-3 and Aaron Miller homered for Anritsu.

Team Rush improved to 3-1 with a 25-10 decision over Team Xtreme.

Andrew Mokres went 5-for-5, Graig Martinez and Gabe Hernandez each 4-for-4 for Team Rush. Rich Young scored three runs and Lauren Chavez doubled and singled for Team Xtreme.

Hi-Energy Networks is 3-2 after a 15-2 nod over Team Storm.

John Trennery and Laura Cole each scored three Hi-Energy runs. Len Van Eck provided a triple, double and single for the winners. Eddie Gamboa lined an RBI-triple and scored on an Anissa Velasco double for Storm.
