I suppose it will play out that BART will only get to the Great
Mall and Santa Clara County will be paying $48 million per year to
BART per the contract.

I suppose it will play out that BART will only get to the Great Mall and Santa Clara County will be paying $48 million per year to BART per the contract.
This should make it worthwhile for BART – more operating money just for running its trains another 8 or so miles south. BART hasn’t had a deal this good since San Mateo County residents paid for all of the East Bay BART extensions.
