My Santa’s hat is off to columnist Lisa Pampuch for her research and commentary on holiday greetings.
With a number of widely celebrated holidays so close on the calendar – Thanksgiving, Ramadan, Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years, and others I apologize for not knowing to mention – a “Happy Holidays” greeting seems most considerate and most definitely politically correct. My only regret is that we all don’t live in Hawaii so I could wish you all a Happy Hula Days.
