Dear Editor,

I am a home owner in the foothills of Gilroy and I went to the meeting that the county hosted in Morgan Hill about a month ago. To say that I was blown away would be minimizing my emotions/anger/dismay.

What problem are they trying to solve? No one can define the problem. We already have many regulations that govern the hillside property. Why are we spending money and resources on a problem that can’t be defined.

Anyone that has dealt with the county in the last 30 years knows that it takes years to get projects through, let alone a building permit. One would assume that the current laws/rules regulations are adequate. This looks politically motivated.
