Amira Tozy, 72, died peacefully at home Monday after a lengthy
illness.
Amira Tozy, 72, died peacefully at home Monday after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Mosul, Iraq.
She was the beloved sister of Ameer Tozy, of Morgan Hill, and his wife, Gail; dear aunt of Dina Marine, of Morgan Hill, and her husband, Ray, Samia “Sam” Reichel, of Hollister, and her husband, Michael, and Lisa Evans, of Hollister, and her husband, Kenny; and great-aunt of Matthew and Kelly Marine, of Morgan Hill, Nicolle and Sara Reichel, of Hollister, Tyler and Ryan Evans, of Hollister. She is also survived by many relatives in Iraq, Canada, Jordan, Sweden and the United States.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Church, 17400 Peak Ave., Morgan Hill. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 900 First St., Gilroy.
