Ryan Fredricks went 2-for-3 with three RBI, Brandon Pickens recorded a 2-for-3 afternoon with an RBI and Baily Schipper, Kevin Willard, Brandon Irby and Michael Pirnik had one hit apiece.
The Cougars sandwiched a three-run third between two-run innings in the first, second, fourth and fifth.
Brian Ransom picked up the complete game victory on the hill, allowing four hits and striking out four in five innings.
CHS (6-14 overall, 4-8 Monterey Bay League) has the rest of the week off before resuming league action Monday at Watsonville.
With six league games remaining, the Cougars are currently in fourth place. Monterey (13-0 MBL), Monte Vista Christian (11-2) and North Monterey County (9-4) take up the top-three spots, respectively.
