Junior post player Shane Suttles scored 21 points to lead Christopher’s boys basketball team to a 62-43 win against Overfelt of San Jose on Saturday at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
Andrew Foster added 10 points for the Cougars (2-0), who won the game as part of the “Play Where the Pros Play” event hosted by the Golden State Warriors. The event rewards teams who have sold Warriors tickets with a chance to play in an NBA arena.
“Shane has done a very nice job stepping into that role,” Christopher coach Kaden Bahner said. “He’s definitely a presence in there.”
