GILROY – South Valley Civic Theatre presents ‘Peter Pan’ tonight at 7 p.m. and runs through Feb. 14. Shows also are at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 and 31 and Feb. 6, 7, 13 and 14; and at 2 p.m. Feb. 1 and 8 at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse, Monterey and Fifth Street in Morgan Hill.
Tickets are $10 to $15 and are available at California Music in Gilroy and at on the Web at www.svct.org.
GILROY – The Gilroy Historical Society will hold “A Day at the Movies” on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at the Methodist Church Social Hall, 7600 Church St.
A potluck lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m., after which a showing of “Know Your City” and films by Justin Byers will be featured. Bring a dish to share for the potluck lunch. RSVP to Elizabeth Barratt at 842-3750.
GILROY – The GHS Cheerleading Team will host a “Bowl-A-Thon” fundraiser Saturday at Gilroy Bowl, 7554 Monterey St., from 7 to 10 p.m.
The team qualified for the Nationals, and any donations would be greatly appreciated and may be sent to Heritage Bank, 737 First St. or by calling 848-3630.
