It has been brought to my attention that an out of state company is calling merchants in our community requesting donations for advertising space on an “athletic schedule poster.”
The company is acting independently of Gilroy High School and Gilroy Unified School District. They have not asked for nor have they received permission from us to solicit on our behalf. In my investigation, the name that keeps coming up is High School Sports Promotions. If you are contacted by this or any other out of the area company please do not give them money. If you feel that your organization has already contributed money I would also like to hear from you.
