Antolin Garcia Torres, the Morgan Hill man accused of murdering missing cheerleader Sierra LaMar, did not appear in court Wendesday afternoon after the public defender’s office was granted a continuance of the plea hearing until Sept. 26.
Antolin Garcia Torres’ appearance in court was waived for his hearing in San Jose Tuesday, and the judge scheduled an Aug. 29 court date to discuss the murder suspect’s request for unspecified records from Verizon that could be related to the disappearance of Morgan Hill teen Sierra LaMar.Â
