I'm a sweet and playful boy that loves playing with his toys and loves to cozy up in soft, warm spots. I love to play and cuddle with my siblings and people. I like all kinds of toys, fluff balls, furry mice, crinkle balls, anything and everything is a toy to me.

Tux came to Pet Friends with her buddy Flame last year as abandoned cats. Flame was adopted recently, and Tux should also have a home of her own. She is an adult cat (and eligible for the reduced adoption fee for adult cats), litter box trained and ready for a sunny spot on the floor of her new home. She is ok with the other cats here at Pet Friends, and seems to be non-aggressive with the other cats. Tux is moderately playful, and not an "Underfoot" kind of cat. She might be ok with dogs, and she did seem to adapt to the Pet Friends environment fairly quickly. She will come with her shots, and already spayed; all set for a happy life with a new family.      When a friend or significant other gets hurt we generally have a good idea of how to take care of them, but what do you do when your pet is in an accident?  Unfortunately, most pet owners do not prepare themselves for these tragic incidents until it is too late.

Licorice is a black beauty with faint tabby markings and a subtle orange/brown topcoat. She loves to play with everyone, and her favorite toys are little balls of fluff, dangly things, and toy mice. In her mind, a kitty can never have enough mice. She also like to cuddle, but only after play time.

The Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center (WERC) is holding its 21st Annual Pet Photo Days Benefit event from 5 to 8 p.m. March 1; from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 2 and noon to 4 p.m. March 3 at the Granary, located at 17500 Depot St. in Morgan Hill.
