Gracey is a 6-year-old German shepherd who is sweet, well-behaved and good on a leash. She loves attention and like give hugs and kisses. As a kitten, Westley suffered for months with gastro-intestinal issues and had surgery to remove a portion of his colon. One year later, he is a much happier kitty. He still needs to be on a controlled diet. He is very loving, is used to being around dogs and would love to be in a home with another cat. Westley is at FOSMAS' adoption center at Petco Gilroy. GYPSY was afraid of the New Years Eve noise and escaped from her backyard on Forest St. in Gilroy. She is white with black mottling spots, black eye patch and ears - feet are brown spotted. She’s about 18” long and 15” tall from head to toe and weighs 20 lbs.  She is wearing a pink poke-a-dot collar with a pink heart ID tag. Call 408-842-4629

Humans and animals often have similar health problems.  One example of this is Congenital Heart Disease. Congenital Heart Disease refers to a problem the animal is born with.  There are multiple types of Congenital Heart Disease: valve malformations or dysplasia, valve narrowing or stenosis, abnormal openings between the heart chambers or septal defects, and patent ductusarteriosus.

Molasses is a 15-year-old tortie cat and Flower is a 13-year-old calico cat. They are both sweet and would make great lap cats. They would be best as the only cat in the household. Calli is approximately 7 or 8 years old, white with a dark calico patchwork pattern. She is about 15 pounds and went missing Dec. 7. She was wearing a collar of maroon fabric with a tag. If you’ve seen her, call Caron Wolff at (408) 661-6929.
