HONORS: San Benito Stage Company awards scholarships: This year, the San Benito Stage Company established a new scholarship program. SBSC was able to award two scholarships to graduating high school seniors. The inspiration for the scholarships was due to a $500 annual gift from Paul King in memory of his son Dave King, a former participant with SBSC. The board of directors of San Benito Stage Company voted to match the gift and set up a second annual $500 scholarship.

HONORS: Christina Keohane: Christina Keohane, of Gilroy, earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University, joining more than 1,300 students in LMU's 2012 graduating class. Located between the Pacific Ocean and downtown Los Angeles, Loyola Marymount University is a comprehensive university offering 60 major programs, 38 master's degrees and a doctoral degree in education from four colleges, two schools and Loyola Law School.
