Johnson scores 710 series to best leaguers
GILROY – Buck Johnson broke the 700-mark with a 710 three-game series (288 high game) to lead the men’s division in league action for the week of Nov. 20 at the Gilroy Bowl.

Tammy Lewis bested the women’s field with a 664 series (277 high), while Brandon Bravo (200 high) and Antonio Landaverde (255 high) tied with 522s in the junior’s division.

Rounding out the top men’s bowler list were: Bob Sakai (668, 234); Jim Bush (685, 269); Jordan Regallo (680, 279); Jess Salazar (689, 256); Robb Joos (674, 217); Lyle Perez (686, 279); Jose Farias (651, 267); Marty Martensen (682, 289); Steve Boggs (658, 266); and Alex Gallego (665, 289).

Finishing strong in the women’s league were: Pat Haygood (581, 214); Pam Nelson (614, 244); Helen Ortega (576, 234); and Cyndi Spencer (609, 248).
