Shots were fired into the front windows of a Dowdy Street home early Thursday morning, police reported.
Shots rang out at 2:26 a.m. from a suspect or suspects on foot, police said. Bullets penetrated the residence, which was occupied by several people, including children. No injuries were reported.
Police said that although no firearms were found at the scene on the 7200 block of Dowdy Street just west of downtown, evidence was collected. Police did not provide a description of the shooter or shooters.
