Gilroy – Community Foundation Silicon Valley today announced the recipients of its Spring 2005 Community Impact Grants. Two of the recipients serve the Gilroy area.
A $25,000 grant from CFSV supports the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Children’s Home of California and allows the organization to reach out to students in the Gilroy Unified School District. The grants are part of CFSV’s “Partners in Philanthropy” program, which relies on generous support from its donors to augment contributions from CFSV’s limited unrestricted funds.
In total, CFSV awarded 16 grants totaling over $318,000 to nonprofits in Santa Clara and Southern San Mateo Counties.
