History: Opened up four years ago. Perry has done hair for about 30 years and has worked at many local salons since graduating from Gavilan College cosmetology school in 1976.
“I worked for basically all the old businesses here in Gilroy,” she said. “All the businesses either they closed up or I just went on to better myself.”
When she left Hair It Is, she decided to open her own business.
“At my age I thought it was a little too late but it’s never too late for anything.”
Services: Hair and chemical services. They also do roller-sets, an old-fashioned service that Perry said few salons offer today.
