Charles Acker, 88, of Gilroy, died Sunday, July 3, 2005.
Mr. Acker was a partner in Gilroy Garbage Company, which later became South Valley Disposal. He loved fishing and boating.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverley; daughters, Maxine Peterson and Marla Wall; five grandchildren including his beloved Ashley; five great-grandchildren; and a sister in San Jose.
At his request no services will be held.
