A Gilroy Fire Department paramedic treats a 14-year-old girl Wednesday after she was hit by the white Honda in right of photo. The 2:14pm accident at the intersection of Third Street and Wren Avenue left the girl complaining of pain to her tailbone but was otherwise uninjured. The driver was traveling south on Wren Avenue and turned left onto Third Street, where the girl was walking in a crosswalk on her way home from school. Gilroy police are investigating the accident to determine whether a citation will be issued. The names of the girl and the driver were not released by Gilroy police.
