cartoon characters.
Dear Editor:
It is interesting how so many things in life remind one of cartoon characters. Take your Opinion page for example and the animated cartoon Snow White and the Seven Dwarves: You have a letter writer that resembles the dwarf Grumpy and a columnist that would be his friend Dopey; you even have a Doc but he is hardly a dwarf and belongs in a different cartoon.
The Gilroy Native Son’s Club awards it’s Cartoon Character Straight Shooter Award to Cynthia Walker and hereby dubs her Snow White. Perhaps, with time, she can convert Grumpy, Dopey and the others into pleasant little dwarves as illustrated in the cartoon.
