Kenneth James Bosworth, 19, of Aromas, died Jan. 1, 2003 in Gilroy as a result of an auto accident.

Bosworth was born in Placerville on April 13, 1983. He attended Fremont Grammar School in Hollister, San Benito High School, Anzar High School and San Andreas High School. He played basketball, water polo, loved to surf and skate board. He played on the water polo team for San Benito High School. He was studying to become a psychologist. He taught swimming lessons to those with disabilities. Family said that he had strong goals to help those in need.

He is survived by his grandparents, Ardis Bosworth of Placerville, Cliff and Alma Meyer of Citrus Heights and Don Roach of Fort Thomas, Ariz.; parents, James and Kathleen Bosworth of Aromas; sisters Andrea Roach of Walnut Creek and Kimberly Bosworth of Gilroy; and twin sister Jennifer Bosworth of Gilroy.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration of Bosworth’s life Saturday at 11 a.m. at Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home at 870 San Benito St., Hollister. Private cremation has been held and private interment will be Sunday at Placerville Union Cemetery, Placerville.

Donations are preferred to San Benito High School Boys Water Polo Boosters Club Foundation in care of Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home.
