â–  No. They should not write a check.

â–  NO, a dumb idea after laying off city employees.

â–  Yes! At this time there should be no raises.

â–  No, $35,000 could be spent on better services for the city. If you think about it most of us do shop locally and have nice stores to shop in. The consumer has to make a conscious decision to help the community by shopping here!

â–  No. I have used two new downtown merchants recently because a friend told me about them, and if we all remember to speak up, the practice of shopping local will become natural year long.

â–  Yes but $10K seems more reasonable and the marketing needs to give shoppers real incentive

â–  Yes but 35k is too much.

â–  Yes, but it’s too much.

â–  They should be one of the partners in re-enforcing this message but $35K is way too much. They could have included this message in their Community Services booklet, in the water bill on Channel 17. Our local newspapers and magazines could create a campaign too!

â–  Where in the world will they get $35,000? NO!

â–  Yes but 35K is about 34K too much.
