Gilroy Foundation hands out more than $740K in grants and scholarships

The Gilroy Foundation, a leading local charitable organization funded via endowments, parceled out more than $387,000 to more than 50 recipients that included community groups, schools and causes. The Wednesday, April 16 evening giving event at Union Bank, Gilroy served as the Foundation's formal annual meeting, too, as President Deb Smith recognized outgoing board member John Perales and incoming Director Lori Kent.
