St. Joseph’s Family Center’s Vicky Martin is hunting for turkeys. The organization feeds 1,000 people for Thanksgiving, but right now has only 90 turkeys. Martin says that when people don’t hear that the organization is behind and in dire straits, they assume the coffers are full. They aren’t. They need another 900 donations by Tuesday.
