Whoever wrote the editorial published Friday, Sept. 9 headlined “Coyote Sprawl: LAFCO MIA” about San Jose’s worrying recent trend toward scrapping its smart growth plans for Coyote Valley and filling it instead with sprawling subdivisions, thank you.

I’m glad you’re weighing in on this. I hope state and local leaders are paying attention.
