Gilroy – Heinzen Manufacturing improved to 3-0 atop the Men’s E League softball standings Thursday with a 16-10 victory over Claddagh Brew Crew at Christmas Hill Park.

Heinzen took a 6-5 lead into the fifth inning and blew the game open with a 10-run outburst. Javier Ramos collected two singles in the rally, while Danny Benz scored twice. John Jimenez lashed a single and two triples, Manny Freitas a triple and two singles for the winners. Lee Liberatore, Kevin Whalen and Dave Slater each drilled three hits for Claddagh Brew Crew.

Jerry Johnston posted a triple, two singles and a sacrifice fly as Team EvMar upset the Titans 20-16.

Geoff Graves and Willie Maquinalez each scored three EvMar runs. Johnny Ramirez went 4-for-4 with a sacrifice fly for the 2-1 Titans.

St. Mary Men’s Club defeated NorCal Battle Brothers 18-10 as Bob Filice and Lance Longaker each went 3-for-3. Greg Sosebee and Shawn Chizanskos each added a double and two singles to the St. Mary surge. Gil Cano and J. P. Perez each went 3-for-3 for the Battle Brothers.

ACP is 2-0 in Men’s EE action after a 17-10 nod over the Good Ole Boys Thursday at Gavilan Sports Park.

Alfred Hernandez lashed a grand slam and Emiliano Mendez highlighted a 4-for-5 night with a two-run home run for ACP. Jeremy Nicholson led the Good Ole Boys with three hits.

Help U Sell Real Estate is 3-0 in EE play after a 16-1 victory over the Long Shots.

Manuel Rivera went 4-for-4 and scored four Help U Sell runs. John Cordova tripled and scored the Long Shot marker.

Fred Tovar and A. J. Martinez each scored four runs as Gamers In Control (2-0) defeated VFW Bingo 22-13. Matt McKay and Todd Berreras each collected four hits and scored four VFW Bingo runs.
