Cynthia Lynn Cross December 5, 1956 – June 29, 2017

Cindy Cross passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends at Stanford Hospital while fighting to recover from a heart transplant.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all she met; she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Born in San Jose, Cindy was a long time resident of San Martin and Gilroy, but also lived in Wheeling West Virginia, the Panama Canal Zone, Long Beach, San Diego and Virginia Beach, Virginia while accompanying her husband who was in the U.S. Navy. Cindy always put her best effort into everything she did, whether it was work (Branch Manager for Bank of America and Belmont County Bank; Sales Rep for Hallmark Cards), leading Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups, serving in her Church or her role as Mother and Grandmother. Cindy touched the lives of many people and will be remembered for her love of others and her willingness to serve them.
Cindy leaves behind her husband (David), mother (Barbara Byerly), father-in-law (Loren Cross), children (Andrew and Janelle Cross, Aaron and Michelle Cross and Ashley and Angel Velasco), grandchildren (Avery and Colbie), siblings (Lori and Chris Blanken, Leslie and David Bozzo) and many nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Cindy was a life-long fan and season ticket holder of the SF Giants and was witness to all three World Series Championships. In addition, she enjoyed the Forty-Niners, Sharks and Warriors.
A Memorial Service will be held on August 6, 2017.
Cindy will be interred at the California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery.
