33409~Gilroy Police Department out of control with use of force
against son and harassment of local family—Dear Editor:
The recent article in the Gilroy Dispatch left out several key
facts about what I consider to be an arrest with excessive force
being used against our son.
I think that this family may be over exaggerating the amount of force and harrassment. There son has been in trouble before, so therefore police should make drug sweeps to make sure the house contains no drugs. I think that it is totally necessary to take the precaustions that the officers took. They may have a little too much force, but I know that the Gilroy Police Department has helped me, and this article just doesn’t seem right.
