What better way to spend a cool Friday evening than to sip hot cocoa, purchase dystopian literature and learn how to shoot a crossbow? These are the times we are living in folks! Tomorrow, Feb. 3, is First Friday in downtown Gilroy and BookBuyers, Fifth Street Coffee, Predator’s Archery, Gilroy Flower Shop and Garbo’s Antiques will stay open late.
Start the night off at Gilroy Flower Shop, which will have a Valentine’s Day theme, pick up a few unique pieces at Garbo’s Antiques then see what all the fuss is about at Predator’s Archery.
Don’t forget to dine at one of downtown’s great restaurants or get your boogie on at The District Theatre, which will have a DJ and The Milias Restaurant, which will have live music.
In the coming months, First Fridays will feature paint nights, meet the brewer events as Golden State Brewery gets ready to move into the old Net Fitness location and so much more.
