Fruit tree pruning workshop Saturday at Demonstration Garden

Gilroy resident Bradley Strawhorn will be showcasing proper pruning techniques for various fruit trees from 10 a.m. to noon this Saturday at the Demonstration Garden’s Fruit Tree Pruning workshop.
The workshop, which is free to the public, will take place in the Living Garden Classroom, located at 7360 Eigleberry Street between Sixth and Seventh streets in Gilroy.
Strawhorn will demonstrate techniques that any individual or family can incorporate in their backyard gardens and orchards, so come prepared with any tree trimming tools, including hand pruners, wood cutting hand saws, or pole pruners.
