Felicia Lee-Cardenas led the Rams with 10 points and five rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to lift her team past De Anza. 
The ailing Rams lost 77-28 to the Dons Wednesday in Cupertino. The loss drops Gavilan to 6-11 overall, 1-2 in conference. 
The injury bug hasn’t been kind to Gavilan as it’s kept Natalia Armstrong and Desirae Canela out and has since struck Kelsey Caudill, who recently broke her arm. 
The injuries have reduced the Rams’ roster to nine—eight of which are freshman. 
Katrina Diaz scored five points and grabbed three steals. Carrie Mansmith-Guitierrez tallied four with three rebounds, while Ruby Saavedra had three points and five rebounds.
Brittany Valdez pulled down 10 rebounds in addition to six assists and two points.
The Dons had control of the game at halftime, leading 40-16. 
Gavilan will be back on the court at 5 p.m. Jan. 21 to host Foothill.

Rams fall to De Anza
Gavilan fell 92-71 to De Anza in Wednesday’s Coast Conference match-up in Cupertino. 
Stats from this game is not yet available. 
The Rams (2-13 overall, 1-2 in conference) will take their bye Friday and return to action at 7 p.m. Jan. 21. They will host San Jose City College.
