The Gavilan men’s basketball team lost its third straight game, falling to Cabrillo 80-56 Friday at home.
The Rams trailed by nine at halftime, 32-34, and could never recover.
Gavilan also lost to San Jose City College Wednesday at home. The visitors won 91-59.
Stats from both games were not yet available.
The 2-15 Rams, 1-4 in conference, will play at Monterey Peninsula College at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Foothill routs Rams
Gavilan continues to reel from injuries to its starters, dropping its second straight game 74-21 to Foothill at home Wednesday.
The Rams were held to 12 points in the first half and just nine in the second.
Felicia Lee-Cardenas led Gavilan with nine points. She also had two rebounds and two steals.
Natalia Armstrong and Brittany Valdez each had eight rebounds. Valdez also scored six points, while Armstrong had three.
Gavilan (9-11 overall, 1-3 in conference) will be back on the court at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Monterey Peninsula College.
