Hibsen Tamayo-Davila scored four goals for Gavilan to lead it to its second win of the season.
The Rams topped Ohlone 5-1 in Fremont Friday to improve to 2-4-2 overall and 1-1 in Coast-North Conference play.
Tamayo-Davila wasted no time getting Gavilan on the board, scoring in the fifth minute off an assist from Gaspar Mata. The duo combined for another score in the 17th minute to put Gavilan ahead 2-0.
Jesus Salas added another just before the half to give the Rams a 3-0 lead. Mauricio Procopio assisted on the goal.
Ohlone got on the board with a score in the 58th minute. Tamayo-Davila answered—twice—in the 65th and 77th minutes off assists from Edwin Galeana and Lachlan Moye, respectively.
Angel Trejo was stellar in net, stopping nine of the 10 shots he faced.
