Auto burglary

–A stereo, CDs, iPod and remote controlled airplane were stolen from a vehicle on the 600 block of El Cerido Way, sometime between 9 p.m. Feb. 10 and 7:40 a.m. Feb. 11. A window was broken to gain access.

–A satellite radio was stolen from a 2007 Ford Escape on the 600 block of El Cerido Way, sometime between 7 p.m. Feb. 10 and 5 a.m. Feb. 11. A passenger side window was broken to gain access.

–A GPS system, car stereo, circular saw, DeWalt drill, Craftsman socket set and camping headlamp were stolen from a Dodge Neon on the 900 block of Montibello Drive, sometime between 10:30 p.m. Feb. 12 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 13. A window was broken to gain access

–Stationery and personal documents were stolen from a 1995 Nissan on the 900 block of Montibello Drive, sometime between 12 a.m. Feb. 12 and 8 a.m. Feb. 13.

–A laptop was stolen from a 2005 Toyota Corolla in the Target parking lot on Camino Arroyo, sometime between 5 and 6:45 p.m. Feb. 12.

–A purse was stolen from a Hyundai Santa Fe at Forest Street near Leavesley Road. The crime was reported at 6:37 a.m. Feb. 14. A window was broken to gain access.

Residential Burglary

–Jewelry was stolen from a home on the 700 block of Gurries Drive, sometime between 8:30 a.m. and noon Feb. 13. A garage door was pried open to gain access.

Other sheriff incidents

Auto burglary

–A 1970 yellow Opal GT was stolen from the 12000 block of Sycamore Avenue in San Martin between 8:00 p.m. Jan. 3 and 10:00 p.m. Jan. 5.

–About $2,500 worth of tools were taken from a warehouse on the 100 block of Rucker Avenue in Gilroy between 6:00 p.m. Jan. 5 and 8:00 a.m. Jan. 7. The thief is still at large.

–A cash register was broken into and the suspect took $150 worth of cash at South Pacific Orchids, Inc. on the 9000 block of No Name Uno in Gilroy between 5:30 p.m. Jan. 7 and 7:45 a.m. Jan. 8.

Misuse of access card

–An unknown suspect used a stolen checking account ATM card to make several purchases on the 13000 block of Llagas Avenue in San Martin 12:00 p.m. Dec. 14.

Residential burglary

–About $10,890 worth of stolen property was taken from a residence on the 13000 block of Monterey Road in San Martin between 9:15 a.m. Dec. 19 and 10:00 p.m. Jan. 4. There were no signs of forced entry and no suspect information.

–A San Martin resident returned home 12:40 p.m. Jan. 10 to witness four Hispanic males stealing a two-stroke weed eater from a neighbor’s home on Llagas Avenue at Lopez Court. The thieves fled the scene in a gray Dodge Caravan that had been reported stolen from San Jose. The thieves, van and stolen gardening equipment valued at $1,950 are outstanding.

–A milk jar containing $1,000 worth of quarters was stolen from a residence on the 3000 block of Dryden Avenue in Gilroy between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Jan. 5. Suspects include Mark Paul Oliveira, 49, of the 1000 block of Montebello Drive in Gilroy and one other unknown suspect.

–A chicken sandwich, a package of chicken filets from the refrigerator, a can of peanuts from the pantry and a can of change were stolen from a residence on Harding Avenue in San Martin between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 10.

–A Hispanic female suspect was caught on a surveillance tape stealing two laptops from a residence on the 13100 block of Colony Avenue in San Martin between 3:35 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Jan. 10. The suspect drove away in a mid-’90s Honda and is unidentified and at large. The property is valued at $3,578.
