SAN MARTIN – Louis Oosthuizen, the 2010 British Open Champion, has committed to the Frys.com Open. Oosthuizen, the 52nd ranked player on the Official World Golf Rankings, also holds six international victories. While spending most of his time on the European Tour, Oosthuizen has played in a total of 31 PGA Tour events, making 17 cuts and earning more than $1.8 million in the process. His best finish on the tour this year came at the U.S. Open, where he tied for ninth.
The Frys.com Open will be played Thursday through Sunday at CordeValle Golf Club.
Also committing to the field recently are four-time PGA Tour winner Heath Slocum and Chad Campbell, a four-time PGA TOUR winner and member of three U.S. Ryder Cup teams.
