Gymnastics: Gilroy High’s Nebesnick claims all-around title as CHS team takes third

Gilroy High senior Megan Nebesnick won the all-around championship in a seven-team gymnastics meet Thursday at Gilroy High.

Nebesnick posted an all-around score of 37.2. She also had the top scores on vault (9.2), bars (9.5) and floor (9.6).

Christopher’s Maria Sanchez finished seventh in all-around points, and teammates Tiffany Roberts and Caitie Shannon took eighth and 10th, respectively.

Christopher took third in team standings.
