Local wine and nature lovers gathered at Aver Family Vineyards in Gilroy Sept. 1  to witness the release of a rehabilitated barn owl by the Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center of Morgan Hill. The center is the only facility in South Santa Clara County licensed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to provide rehabilitative services for wild animals.
