He will be buried in Grass Valley.
He is survived by his wife Edna Root Settle, of Rocklin, his son Danny Settle and daughter-in-law Paula Settle, of Morgan Hill, his daughter Tracy Ann Wright and her husband Larry Wright, of Sacramento, four grandchildren: Alicia Settle, Blaine Settle and his wife Charla Settle, of San Jose, and Carly Flores Settle and Blair Flores Settle, of Chicago, Ill. He also is survived by two great-grandchildren Rick Mason Settle (2 years old) and Madelyn Marie Settle (11 months old), of San Jose.
