Joe Sciabica, 92, of Morgan Hill, passed away on Tuesday April 26, 2011, of natural causes. Joe was born in Yalesville, Connecticut on June 10, 1918. His family moved to San Francisco, CA when he was a child.
Joe was active in his community spending over 50 years with the Freemasons. He was a loving husband and a proud father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Sciabica, his children Kathryn and James Orlowski and Joe and Laurie Sciabica, and his nine grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to attend the memorial service which will be held at Johnson Funeral Home, Monday, May 2, 2011, at 17720 Monterey St., Morgan Hill. Visitation will take place from 11:0 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and the service will begin at 1:00 P.M. A reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Lindsay Wildlife Museum at 1931 First Ave. in Walnut Creek CA (http://www.wildlife-museum.org/support/memorial.php). In the memo line please write “for the wildlife hospital.”
