He and his family lived in Gilroy for about 43 years.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 70 years, Kimiko Teramoto; children, Kiichi and Peggy Sakamoto, Herb and Susie Tanaka, Lillian Tominaga, Akio Jim Teramoto, Lee and Joanne Bishop; sisters, Sumiko Teramoto and Masuko Hashimoto of Japan; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuin. He was buried at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
