Fong scores in 5-1 road loss
SAN JOSE – The Gilroy High girls soccer squad suffered a 5-1 road loss to Evergreen High on Thursday in San Jose.
The Lady Mustangs (1-2) received their lone goal from senior Cydney Fong – who scored off a feed from junior teammate Alysha Davis.
Gilroy will remain on the road with stops at Alisal on Dec. 9 at 5:30 p.m., Seaside on Dec. 11 at 3:30 p.m., and Monterey on Dec. 17 at Monterey Peninsula College at 3:30 p.m. The locals return home for a Jan. 8 league game against Salinas at 5:30 p.m.
