The Gilroy Lady Titans 15 under AAU Basketball took first place
in a recent tournament. In the last game of the weekend, Gilroy
beat the Lady Stars of Daly City, 41-27.
The Gilroy Lady Titans 15 under AAU Basketball took first place in a recent tournament. In the last game of the weekend, Gilroy beat the Lady Stars of Daly City, 41-27.
The top players of the tournament were Lindsey Foster with a combined three-game total of 35 points and 28 rebounds.
In the final game, Alana Osaki played a strong defensive game. Recent addition Carmen Pichardo helped give the team a presence in the middle. Ashley Lambert hit three 3-pointers in the last game to set the tone.
In the second game, Gilroy came away with a 30-18 win over Off The Glass of Redwood City. In that game, Alison Green played good defense and Chelsey Urbanski and Laura Steele also had key rebounds. Gilroy will play next in San Jose in the Mothers’ Day Bash.
