GILROY – Tax Systems-Royalty Real Estate slipped past Maniosos 15-14 Monday to earn the Men’s Fall CC Softball League title at Christmas Hill Park.

Greg Carreiro hit a pair of three-run homers to guide Tax-Royalty past Maniosos. Eddie Adame went 4-for-4 and Brandon Orlando homered for Maniosos.

Tax-Royalty opened the Playoff Night series with an 11-4 decision over THC as Daniel Hernandez hit a two-run home run and Ryan Velasco added three singles.

Maniosos earned a spot in the finals with a 12-10 edging of Wicked. Adame paced the winners with a homer, double and single.

Goldsmith Seeds claimed the Women’s League Playoff Night title with two victories Wednesday at Las Animas Park.

Goldsmith will face regular-season champ Ms. BeHaving at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday Oct. 27 at Las Animas for the souvenir T-shirts.

Goldsmith used a two-out rally in the bottom of the seventh to edge All 4 Seasons Pet Services 12-11. Irene Rivera plated Denise Aguayo with the winning run with a single to advance.

Garza Sisters & Friends moved into the finals opposite Goldsmith with a 14-4 win over Ms. BeHaving. Cynthia Garza went 3-for-5 and scored three runs.

Norma Wendt went 4-for-4, Esmeralda Hernandez 3-for-3 in a 12-10 Goldsmith victory over Garza Sisters & Friends. Nikki Dequin homered and singled for Garza Sisters.

Los Guapos took home the Men’s Fall E championship with two wins Wednesday.

Los Guapos, 6-2 in the regular season, trimmed Willis Construction 4-3 in the opener as Cesar Vasquez hit a three-run first-inning home run.

The Borrachos rolled by No Soup 4 You 16-4 in the semifinals as Danny Melendez, Daniel Garcia and Armando Uribe hit homers.

Los Guapos turned back the Borrachos 12-9 in the finals as Vasquez collected two doubles and a single.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza of Gilroy claimed the Men’s D title with two wins Tuesday.

Matt Galindo’s two-run double helped Mountain Mike’s by Humboldt Brewing 11-5.

Anritsu opened D play with a 13-7 victory over the Titans as Bobby Lopez went 3-for-3.

Matt Coughlin went 5-for-5 to lead Mountain Mike’s past Anritsu, 19-2.

DS Builders earned the Men’s Fall C title by edging Franco Imports 14-13 on a seven-run rally in the seventh inning.

They then upset a Pacific Coast Bail Bonds, 17-14.

Kurt Simmons homered and Kyle Kretz went 3-for-3 to highlight the DS title game.

Dee’z Nutz-Good Guys Financial earned the Men’s Fall BB title with a 10-9 nod over IFC Self Made on Monday.
