Please let your readers know that the Budget Committee of the United States House of Representatives has awarded its “Boondoggle Award” to the California High Speed Rail Authority’s Bullet Train, the worst idea in transport I’ve seen since Gilroy Unified School District decided to hire Chris Cote to transport the high school and junior high school graduating classes in 1984. The theft at CAHSRA makes convicted felon Chris Cote look like an altar boy.
Please let your readers know; let’s have truth-in-transportation for a change. Not the same old lies we get from Santa Clara County’s Valley Transportation Authority and San Benito County’s Council of Governments.
