If kids are seriously and negatively impacted by today’s drug culture, it’s partly to blame on people like Ron Kirkish (Drug Culture Having A Serious Impact On Our Young, People, Feb. 1, 2011) for creating contempt for government drug messages by parroting discredited lies, half-truths and propaganda.
Example: stating that cannabis (marijuana) is a very dangerous drug is false and sophisticated people, including youth, know it. Cannabis is safer than alcohol, cigarettes and most any substance which is legal. Cannabis prohibition along with people like Kirkish cause increased hard drug addiction rates. It’s time to tell the truth because honesty is the best policy. It’s clearly time to RE-legalize the relatively safe, extremely popular God-given plant cannabis.
