We have a new Speaker of the House
A Republican named John Bohner
Is he really a true leader?
Or just, a Tea Party Complainer?
He was interviewed on TV
And he had a mournful sob
He then started crying
When he remembered, his old job
Defeating President Obama
Is his ultimate goal
Even if tearing down the country
Will be the final toll
Health care for the poor
Or the middle class
Is just unacceptable
For this newly elected mass
He’s opposed to government
That’s the idea he holds dear
He must have already forgotten
The road that brought him here
He says that he has high values
Like our country’s Constitution
He has a list of problems
But he offers no solution
