The Gilroy Unified School District recently sent notification to the children who qualify for Gifted and Talented Education services next year. One of the options for GATE-certified children is to become part of Rucker Elementary School’s self-contained GATE program.
My daughter transferred to Rucker to be part of this program three years ago, and I have been so impressed with the quality of the instruction and the depth of education she has received. I strongly recommend that all eligible families come to the Rucker GATE Open House on Wednesday ( May 18) at 5:30 p.m. to learn more about this phenomenal program, and to see the plans for the $10 million modernization in progress.
