I have to say I’m disappointed in the World Health Organization for issuing a phony health scare regarding cell phone use and cancer when by their own admission they have no experimental data to support this conclusion. When organization like the WHO issue these kind of scares it calls into question their conclusions about the dangers of everything else they claim causes cancer. Their ridiculous claim undermines trust in the WHO.
When scientists abandon the scientific methods and form conclusion that are not based on factual evidence it gives science a bad name. In the case of cell phones there is no mechanism for causing cancer. Cell phones emit electromagnetic waves that are the same as sunlight, but far weaker. I have to say that I demand they apologize to the scientific community, take back their false conclusion, or put some real data on the table to back their position.
It is irresponsible to assert a conclusion where there is neither data nor a theoretical mechanism to support the assertion. WHO – shame on you!
